Young Persons Dinner

Following on from the success of the first Young Persons Dinner, which was held in Amsterdam in 2010, this year’s dinner was organized in central London and to coincide with the ending of the Grade 1 Trade Foundation course in Egham.

Guests of the dinner were first treated to a 45 minute Welcome Reception, sponsored by HBJ Gateley Wareing on board the vessel the Eltham which cruised up and down the river Thames, showing sights such as the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the Tower of London.  Guests enjoyed the sights whilst drinking the very English Pimms cocktail and then  transferred to the moored boat at Embankment Pier, the H.S. Hispaniola for dinner. The weather unusually held up for this evening’s event and guests departed for home by midnight.

The general feedback for this event was that a lot of guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful time networking and partying in London.
