A. The Gafta Standard

The Gafta International Standard of Best Trade Practice. This section sets out the basis of the scheme - the Standard.

B. Scheme protocols

Describes how the scheme will operate; how to apply, membership of the scheme, independent assessment etc.

C. The Audit and Certification process

Companies can apply to become certified as being compliant with the requirements of the scheme and after ssuccessfully passing the required audits will be allocated a unique identifier, will be able to display the GTAS logo and  be able to state that they are a 'GTAS Assured' company.
 

The lead Certification Body chosen by Gafta for this scheme is NSF CMi Certification.
