Grade 2: Dealing with and resolving problems

The Grade 2 course “Dealing with and resolving Problems” was held in Hamburg, Germany between the 7th and 9th December.
Sponsored by Ince & Co the 3-day course covered topics including: Exceptional Circumstances; Dispute Resolution; Making Oral Presentations at Hearings; Awards of Arbitration; The Gafta Arbitration Rules No. 125; The Gafta Simple Dispute Rules No. 126; and The Gafta Mediation Rules No. 128.  Christian Dwyer, Daniel Jones, and Stuart Shepherd were in attendance as speakers from Ince & Co. Accompanying them were Charles Debattista as well as Pamela Kirby Johnson, Director General of Gafta and Emma Hughes, the Arbitration Executive. Delegates attended this course from countries including: Germany, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
