Trade Finance

Trade finance not only has the potential to facilitate trade but can also help mitigate associated risk by reconciling the divergent needs of Sellers and Buyers. It is an umbrella term covering numerous financial products and services that banks and finance institutions provide. Trade Finance represents those financial instruments and products available to companies and businesses, to facilitate trade whether international or domestic. This module will provide you with an understanding of how trade finance works in the grain and feed trade. We will discuss the different methods of finance available, and we will see just how the finance comes together in practice.
