Coceral has shared details on an EU consultation "have your say" relating to rules on rice quotas and certificates.

The Commission has launched the following consultation on the new proposal, with a deadline of 8th July:

This EU initiative aims to modify the rules on the management of some rice tariff quotas that are over demanded.

It will also introduce some technical adjustments to:

• the templates of certificates for inward monitoring arrangements
