The Ministry of Commerce has published Notification No 43/ 2024/35 on 24th December.

The notification extends the current import policy conditions for yellow peas (CN 07131010) into India, at zero duty from 31st December to 28th February 2025. Import is free without the MIP condition and without port restriction subject to registration under online Import Monitoring System.

It is effective immediate for all import consignments where bill of ladng (shipped on Board) is issued on or before 28th February 2025.
