The Argentine government has published reduced export duties on agricultural products starting 27th January which will remain in place until end of June 2025.
In short:
Soybean rates reduced from 33 to 26% and derivatives from 31% to 24.5%
Wheat rates reduced from 12 to 9.5%
Barley rates reduced from 12 to 9.5%
Sorghum rates reduced from 12 to 9.5%
Corn rates reduced from 12 to 9.5%
Sunflower rates reduced from 7% to 5.5%
Export of regional products have export duties eliminated to 0 duty. Please refer to the list of products/CN codes in Annex 1 (attached).
Annex 2 (attached) stipulates the reduced rates of duties applied to products according to CN codes.
