Canada: Following previous announcements on 3rd February, the Executive Order is published on 2nd March with US imposing ad valorem tariffs on articles that are products of Canada. The additional 25 percent ad valorem rates of duty, and 10 percent ad valorem rates of duty as to energy products, will take effect on March 4, 2025 at 12:01 am eastern time.

Mexico: Following previous announcement on 3rd February, and Executive Order of 2nd March “duty free de minimis treatment shall cease” due to the issue of illegal migration and illicit drug crises. According to EO of 2nd March, the US will impose an additional 25 percent ad valorem rate of duty taking effect on March 4, 2025, at 12:01 am eastern time.

China: Following previous announcements to impose tariffs on 5th February, the US administration published Executive Order on 3rd March imposing a 20% ad valorem tariff on products from China due to the lack of action on flow of fentanyl to USA.
