The November 2025 issue of Gaftaworld is now available on the website. This features an article by Pamela Mar, Managing Director of Digital Standards Initiative, looking at progress so far on agri-trade digitalisation, the challenges remaining and the unique position of the agricultural commodity trade to lead the transformation. Alan Ding of Gafta Beijing Office presented recently on ePhyto implementation at a seed workshop in Beijing, and a report on this discussion with officials from China's government and customs administration can be found on page 12.
There are also some harvest/market reports from the more northerly countries of Canada, Russia and Ukraine as well as a roundup of India's kharif harvest.
A number of Gafta Arbitration Rules changed on 1 October 2025 and Abi Buxo, Arbitration Manager, discusses these, as well as introducing her full team which has two new staff members.
