For information - EU NGT policy - provisional agreement on NGTs Regulation voted today

The update is that the European Parliament has today voted positively supporting the provisional agreement on the Regulation on NGTs in the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety of the European Parliament.
There were 59 votes in favour ; 24 against ; 2 abstentions.
The Provisional agreement is attached for your review.
As next steps, the agreement must now be adopted by the European Parliament’s Plenary Session possibly in February or March.
At Council level - Member States in COREPER, have already agreed on the provisional agreement on 19/12/2025 but the agreement still needs formal adopted by the Council.
