EU–US trade relationship: extension of the suspension of the EU rebalancing measures
Please note the EU published today Regulation 295/2026 relating to the extension of the suspension of commercial rebalancing measures concerning certain products originating in the United States of America and certain products exported from the Union to the United States of America.
These measures were agreed previously as part of the EU US trade deal last August. See previous Gafta circular 27th July GN/2025/157 and 21st August GN/2025/168.
Today's Regulation shall apply from 7 February 2026 to 6 August 2026.
