Agribility - The Products

This module will explain the cycle of eight key crops: Barley, Corn, Rice, Wheat, Sorghum, Rye, Soybeans, and Sunflowerseeds. The discussion of each crop will be broken down into plant/harvest period, specifications and uses, production and consumption, and the markets. This will provide you with an overall picture of the cycle, geography, and uses of eight commonly traded commodities.

By the end of this module, the learner should be able to:

• Distinguish the harvesting cycle of eight key crops.
• Discuss how the market can be affected by the commodities.
• Explain supply, demand, and uses of the commodities.
• Explain the geography of the different crops.
