Ref. Situation in the Rio Grande (RS) Port in Brazil

The state of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil, is facing severe weather conditions during last weeks. Due to these conditions, vessel operations like berthing, mooring, bunkering, etc. in the Port of Rio Grande may be affected by the movements of the water and winds. Security of individual terminals of berths may vary and change.

The transport of documents and samples to and from the Port of Rio Grande may be affected as airports and roadings may be closed.

Companies operating in Rio Grande Port are advised to check the current situation carefully and constantly with Port, State, and other competent Authorities."
