Pilotage Service Providers 

We have been notified of the following by Centro de Exportadores de Cereales, Argentina:

"Buenos Aires, 4th August 2026''

“Please be advised that, following the publication of Argentine Decree No. 690/2026 on July 31st, 2026, and its entry into force on August 1st, 2026, pilotage service providers in Argentina are not providing pilotage services. According to information received from the shipping agencies, this is affecting pilotage services for upriver and downriver transits, as well as pilotage services required for berthing and unberthing operations at all Argentine ports and terminals, resulting in delays to vessel movements and port operations. As of the date of this notice, no official information has been issued regarding the duration of these protest measures and there is currently no estimated date for the resumption of normal pilotage services”.
