Turkey – opens import quotas on sunflower oil and seed

For information!

For companies who buy local sunflower seeds between 1^st of July 2026 to 30^th November 2026, an import quota will be granted which will be valid between 11^th Jan 2027 – 31^st May 2027 and will allow companies to custom clear with lower taxes at: 

Sunflower Oil 20% instead of 36%

Sunflower Seed 0% instead of 20%

The sum of all quotas to be distributed will be 1.25 million MT of Sunflower Seed or 500k MT Sunflower Oil.
