Agribility - Organic Commodities

This module will provide an overall view of the organic trade, noting the key differences of trading in organic against non-organic commodities. The module will provide an explanation of the requirements for organic certification and an understanding of the processes involved.

By the end of this module, the learner should be able to:

• Explain how organic goods are traded
• Discuss the differences in trading organic and non-organic goods
• Identify the requirements for organic certification
• Identify and explain the relevant Gafta contract for organic goods
