
Amanda Hurst
Training and Event Manager
Amanda brings over 15 years of experience in event management. She began her career in venue-based roles before progressing to five-star hotels, and later transitioned into the corporate sector, working at an investment bank in the City. She subsequently joined a professional accounting membership organisation, before becoming part of Gafta in 2025.
In her current role, Amanda is responsible for overseeing the delivery of face-to-face event logistics across Gafta’s extensive global training and events programme, including the prestigious Gafta Annual Dinner.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Society, Culture and Media from the University of East Anglia.
