Holly Sisman
Sustainability Manager
Holly Sisman is Sustainability Manager at Gafta, where she leads the development and implementation of the Gafta Sustainability Pledge. Her work focuses on engaging with members to track progress against their sustainability commitments under the Pledge; collating sector data to monitor this progress and highlight industry achievements.
She produces evidence-based insights that support trade policy, advocacy materials, social media communications, and conference presentations, as well as reports that contribute to Gafta’s Annual Report. Through this work, she helps demonstrate measurable progress across global agricultural supply chains.
Holly sits on the ARC Committee while also overseeing the Ring Test Scheme for Analysts and supports the delivery and administration of Gafta’s Approved Registers. This work helps maintain industry standards, transparency and confidence across inspection, analysis, and certification processes within the global agri-trade.
She joined Gafta in 2014 and has held several operational and technical support roles across the organisation. Prior to her current position, she served as Operations Manager, where she was responsible for facilities management, compliance policies, health and safety, and supporting membership and training activities.
Holly graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Westminster and previously gained experience across the graphic design, recruitment, and special education sectors.
