Sophie Webber
Head of Training and Events
Sophie Webber joined Gafta as Head of Training & Events in 2017 and leads the strategic development of Gafta's extensive education and events programme. She is also responsible for marketing all commercial activities and promoting Gafta to the commodities sector. Prior to joining Gafta, she headed the events team for a prominent financial services trade body, where she oversaw a comprehensive programme of conferences.
Sophie’s earlier career was in the commercial events sector, delivering major conferences for the transport planning industry and a medical publishing house.
